Fairly remote country pub that re-opened in 2019 after many years of closure.
It was busy on my Friday evening visit with a mixture of drinkers and diners. With the pub only being open on Friday and Saturday evenings, I guess the locals try to make the most of it.
With stone walls, it has plenty of character. There are a couple of sections to the bar, with an attractive-looking smaller room down a couple of stairs.
There are handpulls either end of the bar. One was clipped with Butty Bach.
