Basement bar located in what is being termed the Fabric District in Liverpool. In truth, this is a bit of a no-man's land not far from the London Road heading out from the city centre, but with very little of interest nearby.

I wasn't quite sure what I would find when I descended the stairs into the bar, but soon found a bar with a dozen or so customers and a few bar staff.

The clientele was a mixture of student types and more discerning elderly drinkers. Most were drinking from the bar's whisky selection. However, there are a couple of craft beers available too. For my visit, these were both from Azvex - Electronic Butterfly & Elliptical Orbit. I chose the latter, which was unavailable in halves and for which a schooner set me back £5.50.

According to their website, they opened up in 2019. But maybe they have only just started serving beers.

At these prices, I don't think this will be a regular haunt for me and it's also not an area I find myself in too often. So, a repeat visit looks unlikely. But, never say never.
