A pretty standard if smaller than average new build chain pub on the busy East Lancs road, it’s at least handy if you want some tea before heading to the Showcase cinema over the road. Pretty expensive for one of these places with the meals all over £15. On the beer front, there are numerous hand pulls but all have been taken out of service as is very common now in Marstons/Carlsberg pubs, so it was a Guinness.
