What a tremendous pub this is. On a corner with a small amount of seating outside at the front, and the main bar area split over two levels with a raised area to the rear. There's no flashy decor, in the way one might find an old fashioned public bar, but the tamosphere os open and welcoming. The bar is to the side and has eight handpumps, with around a dozen craft beer taps behind. The ales on offer included no less than 5 stouts as it was, apparently, dark beer week. Both the beers I tried were in excellent condition, and the pub was really quite busy with the dominant noise being conversation. Definitely one I will be returning to.
