Our last stop on a Wednesday night and our second club in a row to finish the day's drinking.
This is much more of a sports complex than the Somers Sports & Social Club we had just come from.
The clubhouse bar overlooks the playing fields. A large TV screen was showing the end of a live European football match. About a dozen customers were in, including a couple of older kids who were coming in and out whilst playing football in the dark outside.
The barmaid was very friendly and she had an excellent selection of 7 real ales to tempt us - Oakham Citra & 3 Witches, Ludlow Gold & Stairway, Wye Valley Butty Bach, Three Tuns XXX & Fixed Wheel Blackheath Stout. However, there was no sign of a real cider.
We found this to be a friendly place that were happy to welcome non-members. It's a good bus journey from the centre of Halesowen, but worthy of a visit.
