Quayside, Southampton

A single room modern bar in the Centenary Quay development. There is outside seating by the water, and the views across to Southampton are worth the effort. Inside, the bar is uniform in shape and lacks a bit of character but it is nonetheless popular, busy all year round with a lively relatively mature clientele. The food is typical wine bar tapas style, and predictably over-priced. No real ale, leaving Meantime IPA, Peroni, Asahi, Cornish Orchards and Cruzcampo as the alternatives to the rather disappointing wine list and spirits range. A good place to sit outside in the Summer, but not really a pub to seek out.
