Latest Visit 28/11/25:
On a Friday evening, I finally managed to pay the Indie Rabble Taproom a visit. It's smaller than I expected with just a small space for drinkers at the front of the space. Brewing equipment takes up much of the rear. Somehow, it felt a little like an air raid shelter. A big screen was showing a roaring fire but it was still very cold inside. A large Christmas tree had been put up. There is more space outdoors to the front.
This tap does serve a cask ale, unlike the Two Flints Brewery Taproom nextdoor where the handpull has been removed since my last visit. I'd deliberately saved Indie Rabble until last, as the cask ale was a Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Stout at 11%. The same beer was also available on keg. The barman gave me a taster of the keg version, as it had a distinctly different taste. Other keg beers were Mantle, Tiny Violence, Loosey Goosey, Peach & Raspberry Lollipop, Dimiscua, This Is Fine, Capybara Collage & Player Select, in addition to a collaboration with Elusive called Missing Pixels. The cider was Ascension Pilot.
As a duo, Indie Rabble & Two Flints make for a good evening out and they're both very handy for Windsor & Eton Central station. I'm sure I will be back.
Previous Review 15/12/24:
I've attempted to visit Indie Rabble a few times and have always found it closed. Opening times are published as Thursday and Friday evenings, all day Saturday and daytime Sundays. So, I made sure that I would plan a visit on a day it was open.
However this Thursday, I arrived once again to find it closed, this time due to a private party being hosted by Hovis.
I will keep trying, but at least you don't have to walk too far from here to find a beer, as Two Flints have their Taproom nextdoor!

Typical railway arch taproom with picnic bench style seating inside and out. Two handpumps with one on, their own Phenomenon plus twelve keg taps, again mostly their own beers , I tried a decent Marzen.
It's an ok place of its type.
