Sort of micropub in a former shop in a shopping centre. A basic room populated with mixed seating and sparse art. The bar is in the top corner and the service was good. A few mature folk were in. No TV but music was in the background. Three of four pulls were on at our visit, with a decent Mauldons Ploughmans. Better than the two local pubs.

Typical Ale Hub micro-pub in a box-like end unit in Perton's shopping precinct. Simply furnished, with semi-modern tables and chairs, and sparsely decorated too. However, this one had music on at slightly above background level, so that won't be to everyone's taste. With three of the four handpumps in use, I found Wye Valley Butty Bach, Blowers Bitter from Frothblowers and Abbeydale's Swing by Beauchief (£4.00).
