Graham Coombs left this review about RAOB Club
A fairly plain club in conventional style but benefitting from a pair of handpumps on the bar, still offering Spitfire and a guest, which was a very drinkable Vale Gravitas at £4.70, good value for the area. As mentioned before, CAMRA members and Good Beer Guide holders are admitted free, with a nominal £1.50 guest charge otherwise. Door entry system in use but just wave at the barman! it is all in one room but with distinct areas either side of the central bar: a small stage and dartboard to one side and sports screens to the other.

This branch of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes features in the latest Good Beer Guide.
CAMRA members are welcome and we were allowed entry, even though I'd left my card at home.
We were expecting everybody to wandering around with buffalo horns on their heads, but in actual fact found a fairly run-of-the-mill clubhouse with some fairly typical local drinkers.
The barman was a friendly chap and had a couple of ales to offer. Spitfire is the regular beer, whilst the guest was Old Hooky.
Fridges at the rear contained some boxes of cider, but on enquiry, these were revealed to be a few months old and probably undrinkable.
Inside, toilets were clean and TVs were on screening Sky Sports News' coverage of the Saturday afternoon's football fixtures.
As clubs go, I'd say this one is above average.
