Old harbourside building in the historic and pretty bit of KL. Via being a merchant’s house and bank it now houses a bar with upmarket pretensions, though in reality it’s more Hollyoaks than Hollywood. Three sort-of rooms, tasteful maroon and cream decor with a proper boarded floor and some nice original arched windows. Two pumps both dispensing Marstons. My 61 Deep was flabby and tired (NBSS 2) but at least drinkable. £2.30 a half as well, which round here is somewhat steep.
