Old Boots left this review about The Wharf
A decidedly odd place, lovely setting on the canal basins, nice old building, that’s where the fun stops. Inside is a small bar with a pool table taking up much of the space, a brick built counter is to the right. Over loud piped music. Three hand pumps usually with Wye Valley beers I understand but on this occasion just a very poor Enville Ale on its last legs, I chucked half of it in the handy canal basin outside. There is a screen and a machine plus an outside seating area with a view of the boats. The counter top was covered in ant powder and wine boxes. Ahead is a function room which appears to be their main source of income, the pub bit is open Thursday to Sunday. Oh a positive note to end on, nice old photos of the basins.
