An old unit repurposed as a bar. Festooned with nonsense with seats from an old coach and a load of junk shop tat hanging from every available space alongside a comedy Reliant Robin outside [EDIT - apparently there was more seating upstairs, this time form an old aircraft]. GBG listed with three cask on, mainly Reedley Hallows (urgh). My half of their NZ Pale was served in a stupid squat glass and was a bit warm as well (NBSS 2.5). Pies behind the bar, so a tick there. Worth a look for the novelty value. 6.5

Strongers . left this review about The Circ
Circ is a small and thin retro café bar with a concrete floor that supports a serving counter up the left and old banquettes with small tables up the right. Limited keg was available and the three hand pumps were drawing Reedley Hallows Brewing’s New Laund Dark and New Zealand Pale alongside Moorhouses White Witch, the latter being a decent session beer priced at an amazing £2.80 a pint. Being a retro bar the walls are obviously jam packed with ephemera, including an old Shell petrol pump, 60/70s music posters and bakelite bits and bobs. It was busy with 15 or so customers during my recent Monday afternoon visit, most of them were posties enjoying an afternoon beer. You know you’re onto a winner when you find the posties local! Yes this place is basic, but I was made to feel welcome and I got comfortable even though busy. I’ll make a point of revisiting if I find myself in Burnley again.

Smallish quirky bar with an abundance of paraphernalia and oddments. There was 5 interesting cask beers on the bar all at reasonable prices plus 6 kegs. Quite liked this one.
