A Tap Social bar within the covered market, there was a lively buzz about the place but other than that there's nothing particularly special about the place much like the beer I tried, Tap Social Purposeful Activity, one of six other Tap Social beers along with Sideburns Cotswold Cider.
OK but not one on the revisit list.

An actual bar in the covered market. Not bad; quarry tile floor, old hogsheads for tables and some heaters – rudimentary but gets the job done. No cask but seven of theirs on keg plus an interloper. A half of the Inside Out was far too fizzy and made me think whoever was running the operation that day wasn’t conversant with how to effectively operate a keykeg. Worth a nose if you’re here.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Market Tap
Tap Social outlet, only serving craft keg beers, although they do also produce cask ale. Being within an indoor market, you wouldn't expect a whole lot of space (and there isn’t), so there are some seats around the edge shelving and old wooden barrels, plus the larger tables out in the atrium. A quick bit of Time Better Spent (£2.80, half) was all I had time for, before heading to the station.
