Good Beer Guide 2023 entry.... strange little place that you would only find if you were a rail commuter. Or studying the good beer guide.
A small tap room with a couple of green chesterfields inside - a shelf full of cans/bottles, a fridge and two of their ales on gravity fed stillage. The brewery room can be seen behind the bar and the owner was happy to give me a quick tour when I mentioned that this was where the magic happened.
Only the Saxon Gold was on offer - the other option waiting to be tapped. It was pleasant enough that I did my bit for LocALE beers by exporting three bottles back to the west midlands.
Very friendly staff.

Brewery Tap for Copper Street situated in a modern housing and commercial development opposite Dorchester South railway station. At present, there is limited seating with a bar immediately in front of you as you enter, fridges selling various bottled and canned beers from the brewery and elsewhere. Beyond the bar is the small brewery itself.
The current brewer/landlord has not long taken over the business and is clearly undertaking a lot of work on the premises at present, with big plans for the future.
3 Copper Street ales were on cask - Egbert's Stone, Scramasax & Dark Ages. I'd had Dark Ages before and found it just as good here. Scramasax wasn't quite my cup of tea.
The Taproom attracts quite a few locals and visitors. A group of either US or Canadian students were sat at one end, whilst older locals also arrived for a drink, with others arriving to pick up carry out beer.
A friendly place handily situated for the station.
