Billed as ‘The Bar on the Bridge’, this cafe bar in a former shop in a listed building is modern, comfortable and welcoming. It is, though, primarily a cafe which welcomes families and tourists and doesn’t have much of a pub feel. It’s fairly small, but there is room for tables and chairs though not for standing at the bar. There is a separate bar upstairs which can be booked for functions but this wasn’t open when we visited. No real ales on. The draft choices are Meantime IPA, Asahi, Cornish Orchards and 2 from Lilley’s. OK for la light lunch, quick cuppa or snack, but I wouldn’t include in a crawl.
