Dog friendly. Serving 5 of their beers + 3 guests on keg taps but no cask ale, plenty of outdoor seating, food (pizza) being served when I was there on Saturday afternoon. No Wi-Fi and poor mobile reception which may be important to some. In an attractive green tiled high ceiling building that once housed steam boilers and generators for the castle. Some interesting photographs on the walls of this old technology. Slightly unfair pricing of half pints compared to pints.

A brand new taproom in the former generator room for the Norfolk Estate, which owns Arundel Castle & Park.

A local ethos prevails, so I had a Little Monster Table Beer, their own version being unavailable on the day. Your regular modern American hopped pale ale seems to be the predominant style, you'll not be surprised to hear, and there's a lager as well.

The taproom is comfortably furnished and the outside seating, with its spectacular view of the cathedral is a bit of a suntrap. If you're in town and fancy a change, this is worth checking out.
