Reasonable conversion to a long thin bar almost opposite the ‘Spoons and the rather tackier Viper Rooms, although the target demographic isn’t the same as either that actually failed a bit on my early evening visit. White leather banquettes in a booth configuration to the front and down the right, the counter takes up most of the left. Usual sort of keg mix on the two horseshoes and T-Bar with the odd wild card, there’s also a fancy Corona lager font gently bubbling away. Big range of spirits on display and I suppose wines tucked away. Panelled walls with matt grey and metallic paint job with terracotta on one wall along with chandeliers and other fancy light jobs but strictly no vulgar Edison bulbs. At the back up a few steps, where the posh but cramped toilets are, is a dark and cosy bar with fewer beers.
