Vintage Claret is another Burnley Supporter’s pub, although it’s not as in your face as the Royal Dyche. In fact I thought this place was far more comfortable. Unfortunately the two hand pumps stood unused so the draught options were standard keg and Cruzcampo. The serving counter faces a couple of tables with chairs, some small chairs up the right and high tables at the front where some DJ equipment was set up. A wooden flight of stairs leads up to an area with a pool table and dartboard that sits above the counter. There’s more mixed seating at the end opposite the counter, including some sofas. There’s some decking out the back, the back of the televisions facing this area can be seen along the windows from the bar area. I imagine there’s a good atmosphere in here on match days, whether Burnley are home or away.
