Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Kirkham Bierhaus
New German beer and cask ale bar in the former Santander bank building. Too big to be considered a micro-pub, but the overall impression given by the L-shaped layout with plain decoration and functional furniture is much the same. Five imported beers from Bitburger, Köstritzer, Ayinger and Flensburger are dispensed from large ceramic founts, and five of the six handpumps were also in use. I went for Brightside's Odin (£3.40), with the other real ales coming from Durham, Coach House, Prospect and Wily Fox. Friendly welcome too.
