An attractive building from the outside, but sadly the inside fixtures and fittings just don't measure up. It used to be a Lloyds Bank, but anything ornate either didn't exist originally or has been lost. They're still persisting with the annoying table service, I have no idea why. They also claimed to have real ale, but this wasn't on, during our Thursday afternoon visit as it was "too warm for it". ended up with a pint of Kona Big Wave and Ms CAMRA had a medium sized class of rose wine. The round was extortionate at about £12. Nice enough looking place, but it just doesn't do it for me. Two extra points awarded for the building.
