The outside of Hill Street Local is bland and could easily be mistaken for a bookies or newsagent. However, inside has actually been done up quite a nice. A beer shelf with stools runs across the front windows and up the right wall to the L-shaped bar counter. Stairs lead up to a mezzanine at the rear that has seating and a large TV on the rear wall for showing live sports. The décor is wood with exposed brick and the designer has put in some big light bulbs that hang from the high ceiling at the end of long cables. Only premium keg is available. I quite liked it in here and would have no problem popping back in to watch the match.

A sports bar. Bigger than it looks from the outside this is a fairly generic sport themed place. The walls are decorated with sporty images a a fair few tellies can be found. The wall behind the bar has a few taps for crafty nonsense and the bar has fizzpop beers available on draught. There is an upstairs balcony for seating too. Average.
