A little corner wine and deli shop which also has a couple of beers on, as well as a well-stocked fridge of tins. It is a fairly plain open set-up, with high tables in the centre and stools with shelves round the side. The deli counter is in a room off to one side while a little bar at the back has a couple of wall taps offering Arbor Helles lager and Beak Parade on this visit, as mentioned below only in 2/3rds, however they also offer Guinness in halves and pints. There is also wine on tap. With a couple of genuine pubs within 100 yards I can't see any real point in coming here, unless you want to graze on some posh deli stuff.

There were two beers on tap, from Deya and Verdant. I asked for a half of the Deya, which was priced at £5.50 on the blackboard, but I was told they only do schooners, i.e. two-thirds of a pint. I said I thought it was against the law to offer draught beer for sale without making it available in units of half a pint. He said, "I don't know what to say about that". I said I didn't want two-thirds and left the premises.

The Bottle Chop website describes this new venue as 'wine shop, beer shop, micro-deli and bar'. Two rotating beers available on draught, reportedly.
