Seeing what looked like a bar in this plain white building, I decide to investigate. There is indeed a nice bar area at the front of an Italian restaurant, with lots of woodwork and bare brick walls giving a slightly rustic feel, helped by the open fire. A row of small tables lines the front with some stools at the copper-topped bar counter. The restaurant part extends off to the rear, with a garden behind. No real ale but a small set of keg fonts included two from Sambrooks - Session IPA and Pagoda Pilsner. Not very pubby but quite a cosy place for a drink, with some nice bar snacks available.
