Blue Scrumpy left this review about Blackened Sun Brewery Tap
Brewery tap set in a warehouse on a trading estate. It only opens on a Friday evening, all day Saturday and on a Sunday afternoon. In fact, when we arrived, we weren't immediately sure that it was open.
However, a quick tug of the door revealed a standard warehouse brewery set up, with a bar just to the right-hand side and a few tables with benches off to the left. The brewery equipment occupied the rear of the unit, as well as a toilet.
Beers listed were Blackened Sun Supercoven, Betrayer, Luna, Talk To Me Goose, When The Snow Lay Round A Stout & Zenith. Bottled beers from the brewery were also available in a fridge to the side of the bar. They are reasonably priced and are available to drink inside, or to take away.
All other customers were stood at the bar, conversing with the friendly owner. In fact, the locals themselves were also friendly and bid us farewell when we left. One of them had a rather friendly dog with them.
Definitely deserves its place in the Good Beer Guide.
