Located in the middle of the Ford and Etal Estate, the Cheviot Brewery is housed in an old agricultural building. Alongside, some smart prefabs have been erected housing a cosy taproom adjoining a covered part and a large patio and barbecue area. Nearby are glamping tents and other facilities. The little bar has a row of handpumps serving their various beers, with others in bottle. Not a bad place for a pint, but beware limited opening hours (Fri in winter; Fri/Sat in summer) not helped by a lack of advertising. Quite a long walk from the village or main road if you don't have a car.
