Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Waves

Accurately describing itself as a 'Bar • Café • B&B Hotel', this place serves as a less upmarket alternative to the adjacent Shepherd Neame pub / restaurant (The Minnis Bay). The light, modern interior is well maintained, but the wooden benches out front overlooking the sea are the place to be in any kind of decent weather. No real ale, unfortunately, but the Bombay Social IPA from Angels & Demons (£4.40) was a fine alternative.
