From probably the best venue of 2024 to a very average venue. This is a quite small, triangular shaped venue with an outside terrace on a very unremarkable road that passes the front of this establishment. Inside is a chaotic mix of tables and chairs to pack punters in under less favourable weather conditions. Consequently I was actually the only punter sitting inside this evening. It feels like this is predominately a place that serves food where drinking is an augmentation to that event rather than a quaffing venue in its own right. However, they do have draught beer (more in next para) and I would imagine always accommodate pure drinkers - indeed I could imagine a role reversal in less clement weather conditions where I would be the sole drinker under the awnings outside the front of the venue.

The four draught beers were Panama Creature the session IPA from Hammerton, Neck Oil, Camden Hells and a new one for me from Campden called the Boss IPA.

This was definitely the venue and quaffing low point of the evening, even Someday that kicked the session off was a more interesting place! Will be back in the immediate area v soon as the new venue opposite doesn’t open on Monday evenings. Safe to say won’t be revisiting this one.
