Bondies Bar is compact with an L-shaped serving counter that faces seating across the front window and also up the right where it extends to the rear. The four hand pumps were drawing Bondies, probs a rebadged 4.1% brew, alongside three guests which were Weetwood’s Cheshire Cat, RedWillow Brewery’s Perceptionless and an offering from Coach House Brewing. I decided to go local and had a decent pint of Cheshire Cat. Cider offerings from Lilley and Spitting Feathers were also available, as was a long premium and craft keg selection. My visit was on a pleasant Thursday evening when it was very busy, in fact all the seating was taken so I ended up stood at the bar, which was good because I got to have a chat with the very approachable owner. This place is well worth a look, but like many micros it does have restricted opening hours.
