No cask. Four of the Birdhouse Brewery quaffs on tap, the Lager, the White (an IPA), the Pale and the Amber.

This is a smart bar on the far end of Shepherds Bush Market near to Goldhawk Road station. Entering from the market side, the bar counter is along the left-hand wall with a banquette along the opposite wall serving a handful of small round tables and then with a long bench with regular chairs occupying the space between. This area is essentially in a railway arch with an old hardwood floor before it opens into a glass roofed, bare brick extension with a concrete floor along the other side of the (raised) railway line. Seating is via rows of trestle communal tables and benches, with access out on the left-hand end into an open seating area with a nice courtyard vibe and the open kitchen at the right-hand end specialising in freshly cooked pizzas. A large fern in a big planter occupies pride of place between the arch and the extension and there are lots of hanging plants from the railway arch, the roof finished with that metallic covering you often see in this sort of place. The lighting was very ambient, and the music soundtrack well chosen for the feel of the venue. Not a pub vibe, but well worth a visit.
