Very much a restaurant but you are allowed to just have a drink if you really want to. I was of course asked if I had a reservation and on asking if I could just have a drink the lovely waitress just checked if a table was free. Sitting down at my allotted table, sadly on a loose floorboard which bounced every time a waitress clumped by, my beer was brought to me. A fairly ordinary example of Ilkley Pale, I expect the Blonde would have been equally edifying, the other beers offered were two ciders and two latin lagers. I can’t say I was surprised at £3.50 for a half. Very nice interior but if you’re not eating perhaps give it a miss.
