Craft sister pub of the Catherine Wheel. ‘Please wait here to be seated’ quoth the sign and after a few seconds someone sat outside lumbered over and parked me on a table with a beer menu but with no future context as how to order. After five minutes I decided that I couldn't be arsed to wait so went to the bar. The interior has been done-out quite well with wood slats/blocks, red and black colours (faintly mid-80’s, I thought) plus a display of local brewery t-shirts which can be purchased. Up to 18 keg almost all local plus a range of cans and bottles. I decided to try a can of Bloody Mary Sour by Staggeringly Good which was pretty decent. The indolent staff let this one down; it felt like my custom wasn't really of concern to anyone, so I decided against staying for another.
