We walked in here by mistake looking for the Chain Brewery, which was in fact next door. However when we asked the barman if he had some Chain beers on, he didn't mention they were a separate bar. Anyway it was a decent enough setup in here with a small bar area plus a couple of rooms off it. One of which was a sun room out the front. There was also a walled patio with plenty of seating.
Six taps serving two lagers, one cider and three craft beers, which were Marble Pale Ale, Cloud Water Happy Pale Ale and Brew Dog Dead Pony Club. No surprise that prices were on the high side.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Market Street Social

Still a work in progress, with the main space being a pleasant, partly-covered courtyard beer garden, and some further outdoor seating being available by the side-street entrance. There is currently no bar as such, with ordering either via the Round app or by catching the eye of a staff member. There appeared to be five craft keg beers on offer in a range of styles and strengths, but at the end of a busy day, I went for the Coach's Session IPA (£4.80). NB - Under the same ownership as the Plau Meat & Drink).

This new bar is a large place with lots of outdoor seating situated between Market Street West and Friargate.For the first month it is opening up weekends only and should be opening today, but when i walked passed this morning there looked quite a bit to do.
