Visited 01/12/25. Visited previously on 26/03/24.
Cask amounted to two handpumps both dispensing L Pride, which was perfectly fine in a venue where I can't imagine they have huge demand for cask bitter! Keg amounted to Amstel, Peroni, Asahi, Jubel peach lager, Frontier, Guinness, Neck Oil, Lucky Saint, Clwb Tropica, Cornish Orchards cider.
Glass fronted Fullers establishment that feels a bit out of place for where it is amongst a lot of new housing developments. The bar counter is directly opposite the entrance with a nautically themed dark tiled flooring around it. There were a few tall tables opposite the bar counter with the main inside, so downstairs, seating area to the left of the entrance with regular tables and chairs and some small leather armchairs / mini-benches plus then a banquette along the rear wall to the side of the bar counter all serving regular tables. There was a smaller seating area to the right of the entrance with a dark green leather banquette around the interior wall. There was an upstairs / mezzanine style seating area with similar seating arrangements plus a few booth tables. The screens were switched off, and a pretty festive but alternative soundtrack was playing. The upstairs has its own bar, but it was closed on my visit. There is an outside but covered area to the right of the main part of the venue but not open on my visit (can't see it would have been in huge demand unless, given the name of the venue, it was a particular haunt of very strong wind fans).
