Can’t be accused of lack of venue diversification this evening. Had intended somewhere more interesting from a quaffing perspective but it was sheeting down when I left the Old Arcade so dived into the only other unvisited venue on PG within 30 seconds of last place! Apart from anything, I have frequented the Broadgate and Sloane Square variants and so was curious as to what a Cardiff version of the venue looked like on a night out. For one it wasn’t as packed as I thought it would be, but it definitely had the demographic I expected it to have.

Quaffs wise a range of keg beers, including a couple from Tiny Rebel including a Botanist lager (safe to say not sampled). Nothing massively caught my fancy so I had a glass of red wine.

The venue was v pleasant and lively. I enjoyed spending 30 mins here for the atmosphere, shame about the beer choices, but then again what could I have expected. Probably a 3 but a 4 on the ground of buyer beware. Definitely not-tidy!
