Although the same address as the Vault below this one has it's own entrance on Borough road around the corner. The bar is named after Darwen being the smallest town in the UK to finance a Spitfire during WW11 and there is a 22ft stainless steel sculpture of a Spitfire on the green nearby.This is a quite large spacious one roomed bar with the bar to your immediate left on entry and to the right is a raised area with 3 pool tables,2 dart boards and a few TV's. There was all the usual suspects on offer on the bar and one cask pump that had a clip on coming soon.
