Steve C left this review about Printers Playhouse
Printer’s Playhouse used to be located on Station Street, but after some problems with the building back in 2016 it moved to the current shop converted premises on Grove Road. Advertised as “Eastbourne’s Community Arts and Music Hub” there are events held here every day and evening. At street level there is an open plan bar with serving counter in the right rear corner, a stage to the left and seating in the front. At the rear are a couple of sofas and a table. Upstairs is “Shakespeare’s Garden” terrace for smokers and on the first floor is an advertised theatre. Available from the bar were Birra Moretti, Haineken and Guinness.
The service was friendly and the live music went down well. This is the sort of place I would go with the wife.
