The King’s Arms is an L shaped pub with a pool table, that is free to play on Mondays and Tuesdays, down the right side of the bar. There is also a dartboard and live entertainment is advertised for Saturday evenings. My visit was early on a recent Thursday evening so there was only background music and I didn’t spot any televisions or sport advertisements. There is a quiz every Monday from 21:00 and there is a meat draw on Sundays. The only cooked food that I saw advertised was the very cheap roast dinners that are available between midday and 16:00 on Sundays. One of the two hand pumps on the bar was unused leaving Doom Bar as the sole ale alongside the usual standard draught products.

I thought that this place was pleasant enough and I’d have no problem returning.

Nice little pub tucked away just off the front.. friendly staff, aways pop in here when over Teighnmouth from Shaldon.. dog always let in which is nice..
