Strongers . left this review about The Cellars Bar
As the name suggests Cellars Bar is down in a basement and at the front a few steps lead to some picnic tables before some more steps lead to the entrance. The bar is to the left on the back wall and there is a dartboard to the left of the bar. By the front left window there is a pool table I counted four plasma screens that show Sky Sports. The right hand side of the bar is taken up with wooden tables and chairs and the back wall to the right of the bar is smothered with pictures of locals and newspaper articles. The bar is stocked with standard draught and one of the two hand pumps was unused leaving Dartmoor Brewery’s Dartmoor as the ale option. I didn’t see any food advertised, but I did spot a poster advertising the weekly quiz that takes place on Thursdays from 20:00.
I thought that the jukebox was a bit loud for early on a Thursday evening, but this place was one of the busiest I visited during my crawl of the area and the young crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The service was friendly enough and the locals seemed harmless, but I would probably give this place a swerve if I visited Teignmouth again.
