Set in a quiet backstreet, this is a smart, modernised gastro-style pub with enough casual space to appeal to drinkers. The interior comprises a large L-shaped room with wooden floors, a black-and-white tile border around the bar, and subtle, muted wall colours. The bar sits directly opposite the entrance, with a dark wood counter, contemporary pot rack shelving, and a modern bar back featuring a large Liberation Brewery beer tank. To the left, banquette booths each have their own TV screen, while opposite the bar, tables and chairs offer a more traditional setup. The rear area has a mix of high and low seating, with another TV or two showing muted women's cricket. A large fireplace with a chunky stove dominates the back wall, and the decor includes portraits, landscapes, and vintage postcards.
Two Liberation beers were on cask—Ale and IPA—with two more marked as "coming soon." The IPA was in good condition and the barmaid took care pouring what appeared to be the first pint of it for the day. A relaxed, friendly vibe was maintained throughout the visit, helped by a cheerful barmaid who joked about one of the insanely squeaky handpulls. Soul and funk music played at low volume, making it an easygoing space for conversation. The pub is child friendly and includes a function room.
This pub does have a bit of a gastro feel but my early afternoon visit saw plenty of folk in just for a pint and I was more than comfortable settling down here for a while before I had to head to the airport. The staff were excellent and it was nice to find a quality pub serving up decent ale from the island rather than big name ales from the mainland. Along with the Lamplighter and Prince Of Wales Tavern, this is as close as St Hellier gets to a 'must do' pub and I'm glad I found time to squeeze it in before jetting off homewards.

Strongers . left this review about The Post Horn

The Post Horn is an L-shaped pub that was busy with an early afternoon lunch crowd during my recent Wednesday visit. There was some very low background music playing and the plasma screen located on the left wall was showing muted Sky Sports News. The bar supports a standard keg range and I counted five hand pumps. One of these was unused leaving Bass and Butcombe Original alongside Liberation Ale and IPA. I decided to eat here and had a ham and mozzarella panini which for £8.25, good quality. Out the front is some café seating that was busy with tourists soaking up the sun. Decent pub worth a look.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Post Horn

Appealing side-street pub just on the western edge of the town centre, with a front patio area partly under awnings and hanging baskets above. Once inside, you find the 'L'-shaped bar with the lounge / dining area beyond, all pleasingly traditional in appearance. Four of five handpumps in use, and as a Liberation house these were offering the regular Ale and the IPA (£3.90), Butcombe Original and Bass as a guest.
