Requested be closed with reason - Gone away: Closed according to London Drinker to be re-opened as another branch in the growing Brother Marcus restaurant chain. Some of these do have bar areas and welcome drinkers but a bit hit and miss so will look into it in 2026 before adding any of their existing (or this new) venues.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Stoke House

One of many almost indistinguishable modern bar / restaurants in and around Sir Simon Milton Square, and like most, this one also has some pavement seating in the pedestrianised area. The inside tables are mostly laid up for those dining, but there is some general seating plus a few bar stools. I sat on these and had a pleasant chat with the barmen; something that took the edge of my angst at paying £6.50 for a pint of the 'house' keg pale ale of unknown provenance (as was the other beer, a lager).
