The Grenville is a large corner pub located in the backstreets of Cattedown to the east of the city centre. An L-shaped bar counter faces the entrance to the front and an area to the right with minimal furniture and a dartboard. A television in this area was supplying some background music via a music channel. Stools line the bar and there are a couple of tables along the front wall opposite. To the left is a sunken area with two pool tables and another dartboard. Behind the bar is a small tucked away seating area. BT Sport is advertised, as is live music. Standard keg is available and the two hand pumps were badged with Sharp’s Doom Bar. I found the service to be polite. This isn’t somewhere I would travel to revisit, but I’d use it if I lived locally.
