Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Toby Carvery Maidstone
This new-build pub / restaurant has as much character as you would expect (i.e. none), but at least the exterior is less purple than some of the chain's earlier outlets. Naturally, the main spaces are all for dining, but a few general tables can be found in the L-shaped bar area, and there is also a patio beer garden at the front. No real ale, unfortunately, but keg London Pride (£4.40) is available as an alternative to John Smith's or the other dull national brands.
