Real Ale Ray left this review about Donkeystone Brewing Co.
This Brewery was very easy to find and was only a short walk from the King William. We visited here on a Saturday afternoon and once entering the business park area, you could hear a pin drop, as it was so quiet. We presumed the brewery had shut up shop for the day, with some further investigation, we found a door into one of the units and found a large space with people drinking away, along with a long bar and 11 handpumps.
This space had a mix of high tables and chairs, settees and a small stage, with DJ equipment set up. The brewing apparatus was just visible behind a timber partitioned wall. Seven Donkeystone beers and five guest on our visit, so we went for the Donkeystone Bad Ass Blonde and the Bowland Brewery IPA.
