Ian Mapp left this review about Wildcat

After the edgy feel of the Cork and Cage next door, this micro had a more anonymous, sedate feel. Matching furniture, painted walls. British Legion does City Centre Coffee house.

The drinks ranged seemed a little more conservative too. Oakham Citra, where next door they were on Vault City Apple Soor..

Fine, but won't last in the memory.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Wildcat

Rather anonymous modern bar in a row of small shops and takeaways, with a very dark façade and a plain café-like interior. However, once in, you find a buzz of conversation and a good selection of craft beers in different formats. BBF Delray Beach, Buxton Best Bitter and the more local Rise of the Holly King from Fownes (£4.20) were available from three of the five handpumps, eight keg taps on the bar-back, two KeyKeg from a portable unit on the counter and plenty of different cans in a pair of fridges. Overall, much better than it initially looks.

My first visit since they moved from down the road. Another decent place in this small area. A good selection of craft ales on. I went for Mosaic from Brew By Numbers which was excellent. Well worth a visit.
