Requested be closed with reason - Gone away: Brewery has closed at this location and relocated to larger premises. Not sure if they still have a taproom.

Located on rather uninspiring industrial estate next to a Screwfix, as it’s name suggests this is a brewery tap rather than your usual pub, and whilst the opening times are limited, they’re much more extensive than many brewery taps who only seem to open for a couple of hours some days or even not at all. Do check opening times before making a special journey though.
It’s all suitably industrial in style as might be expected with a bare, concrete screed floor, cable conduit on the walls, and so on. Large, full height windows to one side give good views in to the brewery and a sign advertised brewery tours for £15. A very large TV was on one wall, although this was just playing some background music at a low level when we visited. Lighting was unusual shades of blue and pink which made it a little less grey and sombre than would otherwise have been the case. A colourful bar counter was at the rear, with an array of taps lined up on the wall behind the bar, as tends to be the vogue in such places. Orange seating added a further splash of colour.
Beers on tap were all keg rather than cask, and were all the brewery’s own products, I believe. On this occasion they consisted of Futurism modern brown ale, Slow Jazz cherry saison, Moonstrips smoky wheat, ZEEP Mediterranean pale ale and Untitled IPA (whether that’s it’s actual name, or they haven’t come up with a name yet, I’m not sure). Ciders meanwhile were Thistly Cross Whisky Cask which at 6.7% seemed a bit strong for my lunchtime visit as I had to go back to work, so I opted for the Thistly Cross Traditional which went down very well.
