A Brewdog with the usual industrial décor, however this one in the student part of town has two floors. The serving counter, with 30 keg products listed on the back bar, faces the entrance, stairs up to the first floor and an open plan seating area. Booths run up the length of the left hand wall and to the right are some high tables behind a partition with the history of brewing mapped across it. In the front right sits some stainless steel brewing equipment. The gents are located at the very rear of the upstairs area, so I had an excuse to explore the entire bar. High tables encircle the top of the stairs and high backed booths run along the left hand window overlooking the street below. Sofas and armchairs are found at the rear by the aforementioned toilets. I’m slowly warming to the Brewdog chain, not sure why, I just am so I didn’t mind it in here.

No cask ale, of course, but plenty of keg options to choose from, including some Brewdog beers that I believe are actually brewed on the premises. Guest beers also available. You can't argue that there is nothing to choose from in here. Stayed for a couple and both drinks were decent. Service was friendly. I assume you can still order via their app or online, but you can also go to the bar and order as normal. It is certainly useful to be able to peruse the menu online so you know what you want before you get to the bar! This is a very big place, loads of seating, and it was busy enough without being rammed. Would be happy to return here.
