Not to be confused with the original Hayling Billy, a large ex-Brickwood's pub a few doors south where there are now residential blocks. This is a smallish shop conversion that opened as a replacement in 2016. Primarily a no-frills sports bar serving the locals, there is one fairly plain room with a reasonable bar down one side and managing to squeeze in a pool table and dartboard as well as several TVs. To the rear is a patio garden. To my surprise it boasted two handpumps, offering Pedigree and Directors, and in fair condition too. Not an obvious choice of pub, but very friendly.
