One of many similar establishments forming part of the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile, like many of the others this is located in the arches under the railway track, and is of course a brewery tap rather than a pub, and this is reflected in the somewhat industrial style décor, if one could go so far as calling it that.
The flooring was some type of concrete screed, whilst the usual white corrugated iron of these establishments was cladding the ceiling in order to channel the continually dripping water from the tunnel roof away from the punters underneath. There was no seating downstairs, and in fact very little space at all, with just some limited standing room in front of the bar counter. In addition to this there was some ‘fridges with stacks of cans and bottles, some shelving displaying a selection of bobble hats for sale (!), and piles of kegs everywhere. A mezzanine level floor had been constructed which did offer some seating, and this was a reasonably pleasant space with white painted breeze block walls.
Beers on tap were Strong and Table, Pisci, Glass of Drink, Apa Cask!, Belgian Pale and Maid of Dancer, whilst the solitary cider was Oliver’s Wild Farmhouse.

Steve of N21 left this review about Affinity Tap Room
Affinity Brewery started life brewing out of a shipping container parked outside the Five Miles Craft bar on an unassuming industrial estate tucked away in South Tottenham.
Well they have come along a bit since then and have moved to now occupy a couple of arches on the Almond Road section of the Bermondsey Beer mile next door to the Spartan Brewery who are now down to one arch.
And along with the Eebria Tap room a few arches down this now makes this Almond Road section a decent stop off before traversing further in either direction as we did before heading off towards Partizan and Fourpure.
There is a decent sized internal space in this tap room and the available seating is on two levels as there is a mezzanine floor above the main bar area. And as the arches in this section of the mile benefit from being not adjacent to a road the outside space is utilised for seating also with plenty of bench seating available shared with the Spartan Brewery next door.
The small bar area in front of the brewing equipment has five taps dispensing the breweries craft keg options and then others were available in cans from the racks alongside the serving area. I decided to try their Breeze, which is a 3.8% Lime and Coriander Saison at £5 a pint, but the coriander was too prominent for my personal taste. However this tap room was being well utilised both inside and out so others seemed partial to their craft beers. As Tap rooms go underneath the arches I thought this was quite a comfortable one and would say it is a good addition to the Bermondsey beer mile.
