Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Walnut
Very smart restaurant and bar, definitely in that order, but there is no problem with just stopping for a drink. Partly opened-out from at least four rooms, there is a dining area to the right of the entrance 'corridor', a mixed dining / seating area to the left, an elongated lounge area beyond that and the two-part counter at the back. A few small tables can also be found out on the narrow front patio. Two Wye Valley ales on handpump: HPA (£3.50, very fresh but tricky to pour) and Butty Bach.
