Brewery tap in an industrial estate. Red and black, dark and a bit grim. 14 keg on. Their own beer of Beachfront was poor, the Vocation was much better. Decided I’d had enough when I went for a piss only to find the electricals hanging off the wall by the sink (see pic). I really didn't like this one - what's the point of going out to drink in a grim depressing shed?

This is a brewery tap, housed with the brewery in a tin shed on an small industrial park (and I don't mean that in a derogatory way). There is a small patio area. The tap is reached by a narrow flight of stairs, so be warned. The tap room is unpretentious except for the rustic wood picture frames that give the impression that Homer Simpson got a hammer for Christmas. Tin roof, breeze block (white painted) walls give a feeling that you are in a working area and I like it. A few photos of the brewery equipment and ingredients decorate. TV wasn't on and the music was soft level. The service is great (been a few times) and there is a good mixed crowd. 12 craft beers (lager and ciders) on tap, but I had the only dark - Banoffee Spy (not by the NIB) which was OK. No real ale and no run of the mill keg stuff. Oh! large coolers with 330ml cans of craft ale that I couldn't read (one looked like Irn Bru, best I can do without my glasses). Definitely worth a visit for those that seek more from a pint than the basic keg choice.
